GURU TIP: New P35X midsole: soft and springy, with a firmer wrap.
TECH TIP: The Torin 9 GTX brings a new P35X dual-density midsole: a soft, springy core wrapped in a firmer outer layer for a smooth yet controlled ride. It keeps a 0mm heel-to-toe drop with a 28mm stack height, and the wide toe box gives your toes room to spread out naturally. The GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit upper keeps rain, puddles and slush out, and it has a new heel shape and a touch less weight. A Vibram® XS DURA outsole gives a tougher, grippier tread (Altra says 8.5% grippier than the Torin 8). It weighs 8.75 oz in the women's size and comes in regular width only.
BUY THIS SHOE IF... you want a cushioned shoe, room for your toes and a waterproof upper.
DON'T BUY THIS SHOE IF... you want a high-drop shoe or need more than a regular width.
