1. Our Promise
At The Running Well Store, we want you to love your shoes and gear as much as we do. If something doesn’t feel quite right, whether it’s comfort, fit, or function, we’ll work with you to make it right. Our goal is simple: help you run, walk, and live well.
2. In-Store Purchases
30-Day Fit Guarantee
Thank you for shopping at your locally owned Running Well Store!
Items brought back within 30 days of purchase can be exchanged or returned for store credit.
All sales on clearance items are final.
Apparel and Accessories
Apparel, accessories, and gear can be exchanged within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Items must have original tags attached.
Final-Sale Items
Sale and clearance items are not eligible for return or exchange.
3. Online Purchases
If you ordered from therunningwellstore.com and need to exchange an item, no problem.
How to Return or Exchange
- Email contact@therunningwellstore.com or call 816-500-5037 to start your return.
 - Include your order number and reason for the return (so we can keep improving).
 - We’ll send exchange instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid shipping label.
 
Once we receive your exchange and confirm it meets the return conditions, we’ll process your exchange or store credit within 3–5 business days.
Shipping Costs
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
 - Client is responsible for return shipping costs.
 
4. Conditions for Return
To keep our process smooth for everyone, returned items must:
- Be clean and free from excessive wear.
 - Include all original packaging (shoe box, inserts, etc.).
 - Be returned within 30 days of the purchase date or delivery date (for online orders).
 
5. Defective or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives damaged or defective, or if we shipped the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact@therunningwellstore.com. We’ll replace or refund it right away and cover all shipping costs.
6. Gift Returns
Got your gear as a gift? We can help! Gift returns can be exchanged for store credit or a new item of equal value. Please include the gifter’s name or order number to help us locate the purchase.
7. Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed to the original form of payment within 5-7 business days after we receive your return. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
9. Our Fit Finder Guarantee
When you use our Fit Finder Process — in-store or online — our experts analyze your biomechanics to match you with the perfect shoe. If that shoe isn’t a match, we’ll happily exchange it for one that is. Because when your shoes fit well, you run well.

1. Introduction
Welcome to The Running Well Store (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (https://therunningwellstore.com) (“Site”) and any related online services, as well as your purchase of products from us. By accessing or using the Site and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or purchase from us.

- “Customer”, “you”, “your” refers to the user of the Site or purchaser of products.
 - “Order” means your request to purchase products through the Site.
 - “Products” means the items offered for sale on the Site, including footwear, apparel, accessories, etc.
 - “Locations” refers to our physical store locations (Kansas City North, Lee’s Summit, Martin City, Mission) and any online services.

- All orders placed through the Site are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order for any reason (e.g., product availability, errors in pricing or description).
 - Prices listed on the Site are subject to change without notice.
 - We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Site are entirely accurate, complete, or error-free.
 
6. Payment
You agree to provide current and complete payment information when placing an Order. You authorize us to charge all applicable fees for products you purchase. If payment cannot be charged, we reserve the right to cancel your Order.
7. Shipping & Delivery
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We are not liable for delays or failure of delivery caused by inaccurate address information, carrier issues, circumstances beyond our control, or “force majeure”.
8. Returns & Refunds

9. Fit Finder & Advice
We provide a “Fit Finder” process (online and in-store) to help you select appropriate shoes and gear. This is based on your biomechanics, goals, and personal profile. However, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Any advice offered by us (in person or online) is general in nature and does not replace personalized medical or professional advice.
 - We make no guarantees regarding performance outcomes, injury prevention, or suitability beyond the scope of the product and our fitting process.
 - You assume all risk for use of products purchased.
 
10. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE PROVIDE THE SITE AND PRODUCTS “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
 - WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
 - IN NO EVENT SHALL WE (NOR OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Shipping Policy

We do our best to get your gear to you quickly!
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
 - You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped.
 - Orders placed after business hours or on weekends will begin processing the next business day.
 
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
Typical delivery times:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
 - Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days (when available)
 
Delivery times may vary based on carrier performance and weather conditions.
3. In-Store Pickup
Prefer to stop by? You can choose Free In-Store Pickup at checkout.
We’ll email you as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID when you come in.
4. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States.
We’re unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations at this time.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your package right to your doorstep.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages

We’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
