The stack height has been raised and transitioned this to a max cushion shoe (max cushion + firm = comfort for miles). This shoe has kept its Fresh Foam X midsole and stability plane system from the older model while introducing a wider base for extra support, stability, and long-term comfort. Whether this shoe is being used for runs, walks, or daily use, it is as dependable as the sun rising in the morning. Staying true to its family line -the 800 series is designed with firm cushion- this shoe is firm underfoot but provides excellent cushion and should be given a trial run before judging too harshly.
