The Ghost 14 brings quite a few changes to everyone’s favorite shoe while staying true to the formula that makes this shoe a living legend. Most notably, Brooks has left the DNA BioMoGo in the past. The dual-density DNA/DNA LOFT midsole has been replaced by a full-length DNA LOFT midsole, making the new Ghost comparable to the Glycerin models of the past. While the midsole has changed, the high 12mm offset and generous arch profile remain the same making this shoe undeniably a Ghost. As is expected of any Brooks shoe by now, the heel counter and tongue are well padded providing a secure lockdown through the midfoot that’s just the right amount of huggy-snuggie without being too tight or too pillowy. Overall, the Ghost 14 retains all of it’s show-stopping features with a new midsole composition that helps it shine as one of the most polished mileage-hogs available.
