Brooks Ghost Max 3 Review
Introduction:
The Ghost Max just got a major makeover and as a Brooks enthusiast, I for one am very excited about this new launch! As a seasoned vet in the running retail industry, I’ve seen a lot of change in the landscape of max cushioned shoes but I think this 3rd generation is going to be met with some rave reviews!
The Upper: My wife might just let me wear these out to Applebee’s!
The suave and streamlined upper of version 2 always impressed me but just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Brooks came out swinging with this updated design. As a man quickly approaching thirty, finding a shoe that provides cushion, comfort but style is always a huge contributor to my shoe choice.
The Ghost Max 3 has a super supportive but also flexible upper mesh which combines both comfort and a more luxurious look. I promised my wife I would not divulge this information but after she saw me rocking the version 3, she did mention that she might just let me wear these out for a date night at the finest restaurant in town (Applebee’s of course).
The Underfoot: A plush landing meets a fun rocker!
Let me just throw this out into the running universe, pounding the pavement in this shoe might just make this washed up runner make a come-back!
It’s hard to put into words how it feels to run in this shoe but let me just geek out for a second by saying that the DNA Loft Foam creates a super plush and supportive landing with every stride This combined with the GlideRoll Rocker ensures every stride is supported with a smooth transition from heel-to-toe.
If you’re looking for a fun and firm ride, then look no further! The Ghost Max 3 might just be the shoe you’ve been waiting for!
