Just one day after the doors opened at the new Lee’s Summit location of The Running Well Store on February 7, owner Kathy Gates and her staff hosted 30 local runners at the first ever “Sunday Runday” group run event in Lee’s Summit.The new store is located at 418 SE 291 Highway in Lee’s Summit and is the second location for the specialty running boutique. The Running Well Store was recently named one of The 50 Best Running Stores in America for the second year in a row by Running Insight and Competitor Magazine.

The Running Well Store, located at 418 SE Missouri 291 in Lee’s Summit, has for a second year in a row been recognized as one of the 50 best running stores in America by two leading trade and consumer publications, Running Insight and Competitor Magazine. It is the only running store in the Kansas City metropolitan area to receive the honor.
